Laura is from Hampton Bays, New York, and earned her undergraduate and master’s degrees from James Madison University (B.B.A. and M.S. in Accounting). After earning her M.S. degree, Laura worked as an audit associate at RSM US LLP while completing the CPA requirements. She is currently a J.D. Candidate at St. John’s University School of Law and expects to graduate in May 2026
